Mid Year Book Freak Out Tag (My First Tag Ever!) - 2018

Half the year has come to an end and I have read total 42 books so far,out of which 8 were rereads for me. I wanted to write a post which shows a summary of my reading journey so far, and then I found this tag across different online sites and decided to go for this tag which kind of summarises your reading in half a year and your expectation for the rest.It consists of 15 question which included your reading so far and in future.

So here we go!

NEW RELEASES YOU HAVEN'T READ YET,BUT WANT TO?

I have two books in this list, first is Circe by Madeline Miller and Stygian by Sherrilyn Kenyon.Madeline Miller is a new author for me but I really like the synopsis of this.Sherrilyn Kenyon is one of my favourite paranormal romance author and Stygian is 29th Book in her Dream Hunter series and I have really high hopes from this long awaiting book

BIGGEST DISAPPOINTMENT?

The Shadow Throne, 3rd book in The Ascendance series.I was really pumped about this book, setting really high expectations after the awesome start to the series. But it felt flat for me and the predictability of this really brought this book down.

BIGGEST SURPRISE?

First Fifteen Lives of Harry August by Claire North, this is a Sci Fi with lots of World War II description, and Sci Fi & historical fiction, both are not my thing.I read this with very low expectation, especially in my reading slump!!Imagine my my surprise when I read it and thoroughly enjoyed it 😲
