Oct Wrap Up! | 2019

I read 12 books in the month of October, out of which, only 2 were actually from my TBR (No surprise here!).

Why I make TBR again? Oh right, because I like doing that shit!

Anyways!

I finished two romance series (published so far)

- X Ops Series by Paige Tyler

This was a roller-coaster ride for me. 

I really liked few books in the series ( book #1,3,6 & 8 - 4 stars), few were quite average ( book #3 - 3 stars) and the rest - I loved! ( book #4, 5 & 7 - 5 stars)

So, there was no bad book in this.

I have read all eight main books in the series with short stories in between.

Really looking forward to more in the series. Eighth book ended with a big revelation at the end. I am eager to find what is going to happen next!

- Ashes and Embers Series by Carian Cole

This is another rock star romance series  I found last month.There are five books out so far and I binge read the while thing.Did not start very well but it does get better.

Quite addictive series, you can't help but root for these characters in this band.

Storm - 2 stars
Vandal - 3 Stars
Lukas - 4 Stars
Talon - 5 Stars
Loving Storm - 3 Stars

- Win Some Lose Some by Shay Savage

This was a complete surprise for me. I went into his knowing nothing but it was awesome!

One of my favourite YA contemporary romance of all the time. Full 5 Stars!

- The Turn of the Key by Ruth Ware

An awesome read for this halloween month! I loved this house thriller with creepy suspense vibes and this Ruth Ware's book was a complete win for me!

- Cenote by Shaun Horton 

Another book for spooky month. It was a very short aquatic horror with effective writing and scenes. Just wished it was a little longer. 4 stars!

Overall, it was a great month in terms of following my Goodreads challenge and cannot wait to read more this month (SPOILER ALERT - it's going great!)
